Pallister Park Primary School

Welcome to Pallister Park

We didn’t just take a job here. We chose this place.

At Pallister Park, we are a team — teachers, teaching assistants, support staff, lunchtime supervisors and leaders — who have all chosen, deliberately, to be here.

That is not accidental. It is what this school does. It grows people — children and adults alike.

Journeys through Pallister Park

Some of us first walked through these doors as five-year-olds. Some joined to support one child and found an entire community. Our headteacher began here as a newly qualified teacher. Some of us grew up in this area and came back because this school shaped us. Some joined as NQTs and never wanted to leave. Some started as teaching assistants, found their calling, and became the teachers and leaders they are today.

What we share is this: we stayed, because this place is worth staying for.

When you bring your child to Pallister Park, you are not handing them to strangers. You are joining a community of adults who care — deeply, professionally, and personally — about every child in this building.

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” — Helen Keller

Designed for every learner. Built for belonging.

At Pallister Park, inclusion is not a department or a policy document. It is the way we think about every decision we make — from how we design our classrooms to how we begin each morning. Our vision is simple: to empower every child to thrive — academically, socially, and emotionally.

We believe that when a school works brilliantly for its most vulnerable learners, it works better for every child. We design everything with all children in mind, from the start.

Five commitments we make to every family

01

Every child starts the day in a calm, welcoming environment.

02

Every child is known by multiple adults who understand their strengths and their needs.

03

Every child’s communication is supported — through specialist vocabulary, visual tools, or simply patient, skilled adults who listen.

04

Every child’s family is a partner in their learning journey.

05

Every child — regardless of background, ability, or need — has access to the same rich experiences, trips and opportunities.

Not just words — recognised by those who inspect us

This is not aspirational language. It is how we were judged by Ofsted and recognised by the Inclusion Quality Mark. But more importantly, it is what our families tell us, every day.

“The school has a high percentage of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Adults consistently model vocabulary to help enhance children’s communication skills.” — Ofsted 2024
